Judd’s! Our hangout spot while we used to live in the neighbourhood. The beer was always extra cold and the cocktails tasty - but the food… not fully satisfying.

But - aha - the good news. That has changed! The menu has been reduced and we were pleasantly surprised.

The upper part of Kloof street is a little more quaint than the lower part - but still the cool people. And that’s why you want to go there, right?
Ask for a seat on their terrace - and watch the Cape Town life pass by.

On this visit we haven’t had full meals but rather some of their smaller plates. Prawns, Fior and the Calamari. Great flavours, good prices and fantastic staff.

We can recommend Judd’s - it’s better than it’s competitors in direct proximity in our opinion.
